AUAB Met Honourable  Rajya Sabha MPs Shri John Brittas ji and Shri A. Raheem ji: In support of the AUAB call for the submission of representations to Hon. Members of Parliament, a special delegation of AUAB CHQ met Hon. Rajya Sabha Members Shri John Brittas ji and Shri A. Raheem ji on 27/10/2026 at Harkishan Surjeet Bhavan, New Delhi, and submitted a memorandum urging the Government to relax the Affordability Clause to facilitate the implementation of the Third Pay/Wage Revision of BSNL employees.

The delegation highlighted the prolonged delay in the implementation of the Third Pay/Wage Revision and sought their support for the early resolution of this long-pending issue.

The AUAB delegation thanked both Hon. MPs for their continued support to BSNL employees, particularly for their efforts in securing a favourable COPU report and for raising the issue of the 3rd Pay Revision Committee (PRC) in Parliament, which elicited a positive response from the Hon. Minister of State for Communications. Both the Hon. MPs assured the delegation that they would take up the matter with the Hon. Minister of Communications and continue pursuing the issue for an early and favourable resolution in the interest of BSNL employees.

The delegation comprised Shri Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, BSNLEU; Shri C. Singh, General Secretary, NFTE; Shri M. S. Adasul, General Secretary, SNEA; Shri P. Abhimanyu, Vice President, BSNLEU; and Mrs. Anu Agarwal, Circle Secretary, SNEA, BSNL Corporate Office, New Delhi.

AUAB Jharkhand met Honourable Member of Parliament Shri Vidyut Varan Mahato Ji: In support of the AUAB call for the submission of representations to Honourable Members of Parliament, a special delegation of AUAB Jharkhand, on 31/10/2026, met Shri Vidyut Varan Mahato Ji, Honourable Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, and submitted a memorandum on the Third Pay/Wage Revision of BSNL employees.

The delegation highlighted the pressing issues and long-pending demands of BSNL employees, with special emphasis on and the removal of the affordability clause.

The Honourable MP responded very positively and assured the delegation that he would take up the matter with the Honourable Minister of Communications for its early resolution and pursue the matter through appropriate correspondence. AUAB expressed its sincere gratitude and thanks to the Honourable MP for his support and positive response.

AUAB Bihar met Honourable Member of Parliament Shri Dinesh Chandra Yadav Ji: In support of the AUAB call for the submission of representations to Honourable Members of Parliament, a special delegation of AUAB Bihar, on 31/10/2026, met Shri Dinesh Chandra Yadav Ji, Honourable Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha and submitted a memorandum on the Third Pay/Wage Revision of BSNL employees. 

The delegation comprising Mahesh Kumar, Jay Prakash Narayan, Vishal Anand, Sonu Kumar, Shashi Kumar, and Vijay Kumar Das highlighted the long-pending pay revision issues of BSNL employees and officers and sought early implementation of the Third Pay/Wage Revision. The Honourable MP responded very positively and stated that the demands of BSNL employees and officers are genuine and justified. He assured the delegation that he would take up the matter with the Government of India and support efforts for its early resolution.

AUAB MP Circle met Honourable Rajya Sabha Member Shri R. Girirajan Ji: In support of the AUAB call for the submission of representations to Honourable Members of Parliament, a special delegation of AUAB, on 31/10/2026, met Shri R. Girirajan Ji, Honourable Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and submitted a memorandum on the Third Pay/Wage Revision of BSNL employees. 

The delegation requested the Honourable MP to support the implementation of the Third Pay/Wage Revision and the removal of the affordability clause affecting BSNL employees and officers. The Honourable MP responded very positively and assured the delegation that he would strongly raise the matter in Parliament and extend his support for the early resolution of the employees' legitimate demands.

Adasul (GS, SNEA), Shri Ashok Patel (GS, SEWA), Shri Ravindra Kumar Gupta (GS, DEWAB), Shri Rajendra Singh (GS, OBCTEWA), Shri P. S. Das (AGS, SEWA), Shri D. P. S. Chawla (CVP, SNEA), Shri M. Satya Sasidhar (CWCM, SNEA), and Shri Kishor Patil (EM, SNEA) met Shri Ramdas Athawale Ji, Honourable Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, at his New Delhi residence on 26/10/2026.

The delegation submitted a memorandum seeking approval of the long-pending 3rd Pay/Wage Revision for BSNL employees and executives and requested his support for its early implementation. After patiently hearing the delegation and reviewing the memorandum, the Honourable Minister assured his full support and stated that he would personally take up the matter with the Honourable Minister of Communications. He also assured efforts to facilitate discussions with the concerned DoT officials to expedite the resolution of the issue.

During the meeting, the AUAB delegation apprised Honourable MP Ms. Supriya Sule of the long-pending Third Pay/Wage Revision for BSNL employees and requested her intervention for relaxation of the Affordability Clause and early settlement of the issue. Responding positively, Ms. Supriya Sule assured the delegation that she would take up the matter at the appropriate level and make sincere efforts to secure justice for BSNL employees.
