AUAB Jabalpur, MP Circle met Honourable Member of Parliament, Jabalpur, Shri Ashish Dubey Ji: In support of the AUAB call for the submission of representations to Honourable Members of Parliament, a special delegation of AUAB Jabalpur, on 26/10/2026, met Honourable Member of Parliament from Jabalpur, Shri Ashish Dubey Ji, and submitted a Memorandum on the Third Pay/Wage Revision of BSNL Employees.

A detailed discussion was held on the issue of the Third Pay/Wage Revision. The Honourable MP responded very positively and assured the delegation that he would write to the Honourable Minister of Communications (MoC) and raise the issue of the Third Pay/Wage Revision during the forthcoming Winter Session of Parliament for its early resolution.

AUAB Odisha Circle Delegation Meets Honourable MP Dr. Rabindra Narayan Behera: In support of the AUAB call for the submission of representations to Honourable Members of Parliament, a special delegation of AUAB Odisha, on 27/10/2026, met Dr. Rabindra Narayan Behera, Honourable Member of Parliament and submitted a Memorandum on the Third Pay/Wage Revision of BSNL Employees. He responded very positively and assured the delegation that he would take up the matter with the Honourable Minister of Communications for its early resolution. Dr. Behera also extended his wholehearted support to the demand. As a Member of Parliament and a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee, his support is highly valuable in pursuing the matter with the concerned authorities and facilitating its early resolution.

SAD NEWS: SNEA mourns the untimely demise of Shri Shabir Shafkat Rather, CWCM J&K Circle: With profound grief and a heavy heart, SNEA mourns the untimely demise of our beloved leader, Shri Shabir Shafkat Rather, CWC Member, SNEA J&K Circle and Senior SDE, BSNL Kashmir BA, who passed away after being hospitalized for the past few days. He was just 47 years old and is survived by his wife and two school-going children.

Shri Shabir Shafkat Rather was a dedicated and committed member and a strong leader of SNEA. He had been associated with the Association since joining BSNL in 2003. Throughout his association with SNEA, he remained steadfast in his commitment to the welfare of the cadre and the ideals and objectives of the Association. His valuable contributions, active involvement and sincere dedication to the activities of SNEA will always be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

His untimely demise is an irreparable loss to his bereaved family, colleagues, SNEA and the entire BSNL fraternity. His unwavering commitment, warm camaraderie and dedicated involvement in the organizational activities of SNEA will remain etched in our memories.

SNEA conveys its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and stands in firm solidarity with them in this hour of immense grief. We pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give his family the strength, courage and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
